SO WHY THIS WEBSITE?
WHAT IS ITS AIM AND PURPOSE?
Well, you could say that the reasons for this website are basically twofold.
First, it is primarily “evangelistic.” I simply want to tell people how they can be “saved;” that is completely forgiven of every sin, no matter how bad. And thus, have complete assurance of “Salvation,” with the certain hope of an amazing Heaven for all eternity when the time comes.
Secondly, I want to consider “End-Times” Prophecy, and what it has to say about the “Tribulation” and “Pre-Trib” “Rapture.”
For, it has to be said, that there is much to be gleaned from the prophecies contained in God’s Word, as they make up as much as one quarter of the entire Bible.
So, starting with the “Rapture” of “Believers,” does Scripture give us any clues as to when it might be more likely to occur compared to other periods? Well, in short, I believe, it does, as we shall see. Indeed, the “Main Article” at the heart of this website, looks closely into this whole matter. For its title is: “The Rapture In 2025: Does The Bible Teach It?” View Here
For one, I do believe Scripture teaches that the Rapture will take place before a 7-year-long “Tribulation” begins. Thus, if we can work out when the Tribulation might start, then we can infer when the Rapture might happen; namely: some time before that, or even on the very same day.
So first, let us try and establish on what year Jesus died, for, if we can do that, then we will be able to come up with the year of His “Second Coming.” For that can be achieved by simply adding 2,000 years onto our crucifixion year. For, as we shall see, I believe the Bible supports the view that the time between those two events – that is the “Cross,” and the day when Jesus returns in the clouds with power and great glory to judge the nations – will be a period of precisely forty 50-year “Jubilees.” That is to say it will be neither 1,999 years, nor 2,001, but 2,000. For once we have a possible year for Christ’s “Second Coming,” it follows from “Daniel 9,” that for a period of exactly 7 years before that, there will be “Tribulation” on the Earth; that is when God will pour out His wrath on our violent, Christ-rejecting World. If we then heed Paul’s teaching on the “Rapture,” (see 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; and 1 Corinthians 15:51,52) – in addition to his statement that “believers” are not subject to wrath in 1 Thessalonians 5:9 – then I suggest every “Born-Again” believer can be confident of being “snatched away” bodily by God into Heaven at some point before the “Tribulation” gets under way.
Thus, after deducing the best candidate for the year of Christ’s Second Coming – and thereby from there the year when the Tribulation begins 7 years earlier – we may now be in a strong position to look for any stand-out High Watch Times for the Rapture in that same year. And so that is what I do in some detail, on this website, in my article, “The Rapture In 2025: Does the Bible Teach It?”
Which brings me to the whole question of who exactly goes to Heaven: that is either when they die, or, if they are alive at the time, in the “Rapture.” For there cannot be, surely, a more important issue to consider than where I will spend “Eternity” when my time on this Earth is over. And once again, just like “End-Times Prophecy,” the only truthful source for all matters concerning “Salvation” is the “Bible.”
For there’s a whole other “Big Issue” when considering “Salvation” and that is the question of, “if I don’t go to Heaven, then where do I go?” Again, we must turn to Scripture, which is clear that all “unsaved,” “unconverted” people – and it grieves me to say this – will one day find themselves shut out of Heaven, and instead, in a never-ending Hell, with no way back and no hope of rescue. Hence, can you see that a large part of this website is therefore set aside in the proclamation of the “Gospel,” for it is only by hearing that “message,” and responding to it, that a person can avoid Hell and be saved eternally.
For it is the “Gospel” alone that has the power to convict people of their sin, as well as show them their need of Jesus, the only “Saviour,” who died for them, and then rose again to prove it.
Yes, it is exciting to anticipate going to Heaven in the Rapture, but first, please, please make sure you are truly “saved,” “born-again,” and “converted,” – they are all the same thing – as there is no other way other than through Jesus to get there. Indeed, He makes it so very clear in John 14:6 where the “Saviour” says, “I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.”
And so, like I say, this website has been structured to concentrate as much on being “Saved” as it does on the “Rapture” of the “Saved.”
Finally, that now leads me to consider what might happen after the Rapture, namely: when might the “Tribulation” begin, and when and how might the “Antichrist,” (the one World ruler) appear on the World stage. For, it is this related issue which I look at in some detail in the section of this website named “The Antichrist.”
Now, I also look at the whole issue of the “Mark of the Beast,” which the Antichrist will put in place, and without which you cannot buy or sell. I spend some time on this because, as we shall see, the Bible teaches that it is a “Salvation issue.” Thus, it is so important to understand that if you find yourself going through the Tribulation, then DO NOT TAKE THAT MARK: for if you do, you can never be finally saved.
